Shipping Policy

1. OBJECTIVE:

This Shipping Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) describes the Company’s policies, procedures, terms and conditions on shipping any Order that you place at the Company’s Website.

This Policy is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made there under and the provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000, from time to time. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures to make the terms of this Policy binding.

2.DEFINITIONS:

For the purpose of this Policy:

  • Company: (For the purpose of this Policy, the terms Company and inter alia the terms "our", "ourselves", "we" and "us" refer to Dharampal Satyapal Foods Limited.
  • Order: shall mean the order placed by you for the purchase of products from the Website.
  • Website: refers to www.laderach.in
  • you/your/yourself: As used in this Policy, member (whether registered or not) shall be referred to as "you", "your" and "yourself" which shall mean any natural or legal person / individual who has placed the Order at the Website, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual placing the Order at the Website.

3.SCOPE:

This Policy applies to all the Order(s) that are placed by you on the Website for the purchase of products offered by the Company on the Website.

This Policy describes the Company’s policies, procedures and other terms with respect to shipping the Order(s) placed at the Website including but not limited to the cost for shipment (as applicable); the timelines for shipping the Order(s); shipping methods’; shipping restrictions and other related aspects of shipping. By placing any Order on the Website, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Policy and this Policy is thereby binding on you.

4. SHIPPING AREAS:

  • The Company serves and ship the Orders only in select cities/locations and our catalogue is available at certain pin codes only. To check serviceability at delivery address, you need to enter your delivery address pin code at checkout page. On entering and submitting the delivery address pin code, you will be notified of the serviceability and the tentative timelines for shipping to the pin code entered by you.
  • In the event, we do not ship to the pin code entered by you, you will be notified accordingly and the Order will not be processed further.
  • We only ship to residential and business addresses. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes addresses in India.
  • The delivery area/pin code is defined from time to time by the Company at its discretion and is subject to change. To check the serviceability, you need to enter your delivery address pin code at checkout page.

5. SHIPPING METHODS:

  • We send all Orders via reputed courier partners or self-ship mode.
  • Our courier partner’s delivery agent may contact you at the mobile number provided by you at time of placing the Order. You are hereby requested to provide the correct details in order to avoid any delay in deliveries.
  • We also have an option for self-pick up from our respective stores, as detailed out in point 7 below.

6. HANDLING TIME:

  • We pride ourselves on getting you your Order(s) as quickly as possible. Orders received before 5 pm on any given day, during Monday to Friday will normally be dispatched by us next day from date of order. Orders received before 5 pm on any Saturday will normally be dispatched by us on next working day from date of order.
  • Order(s) received by us after 5 pm on any given day, will be considered as an Order received on the next day and the dispatch time period of order will be following working day.
  • For any customized order handling time might vary.
  • Please note that we do not dispatch or ship any Order on Sunday or on any other gazette holidays.

7. SHIPMENT COST:

  • The price of our products is exclusive of delivery charges. You shall be charged shipping charges and are liable to pay delivery charges on the Order placed as per the rates below. The shipping charges may vary from Order to Order, which shall be determined on the order value as mentioned below. The shipping charges will be visible to you separately in the total amount to be paid at the time of check out.

  • Please note that we do not charge any shipping charges in case you opt for store pickup option at the time of check out, subject to the limited locations where in-store/ warehouse pickup is available. The locations from where the pick-up options is available can be checked at our Website.
  • You can't change your pickup store after you've placed your order.
  • After placing your Order and selecting store pickup at checkout, your order will be usually prepared and ready for pick up within 2 hours, however timelines for pick up are from 10.30 am to 4.30pm on working days. We will notify you on email or on the phone number provided by you or personally call you when your order is ready for pick-up. You are requested to pick up the order yourself at the earliest from the time we notified you. To pick up your order at the location you selected during checkout, you will need to present your order number as well as a government-issued photo ID. We'll send you an email and call once your order is ready for pickup. Do not arrive before you receive confirmation, as it may cause delays. Our in-store pickup hours are from 10.30 am to 4.30pm on working days of the week]. You are requested to carry your order confirmation email/Order details with you when you come for pick-up. In the event, you are authorizing any other person to pick up the order on your behalf, we will be contacting you at the time of pick-up to verify the credentials of the authorized person. Please note that until and unless the credentials are verified, we will not hand over the Order to the authorized person.
  • Please note that we will hold your Order for a maximum period of 24 hours from the time we have notified you that the Order is ready for pick up. In the event, the Order is not picked up within this time, we reserve the right to use the ordered product for delivering to another customer.
  • You may have the option to pay at the store only in case you opt for store pickup option and for payment at store, at the time of check out. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event you opt for pre-booking facility for any products which are not yet in stock, you will have the option to choose COD as a payment option at the time of confirmation of the order once the stock is available.

8. SHIPMENT TIMELINES:

  • Please note that the total time required by us to ship the Order at the delivery address shall vary as per the delivery pin code, serviceability in that area. You will be notified of the tentative timelines for the same at the time when you enter the delivery address pin code to check the serviceability.

9. SHIPMENT PACKAGING AND TRANSIT:

  • We ensure that all dispatched products are packed and shipped at controlled temperature ideal for chocolates.
  • Company reserves the right to reject a delivery service request for any Order even after payment has been made. In the event where the delivery service cannot be provided by us, we will provide you with the option to cancel and refund the Order, or to proceed with the Order and refund the delivery service charge if any.   • We will not be held liable for any failed deliveries as a result of incomplete information being provided by you. You should ensure that the full and correct address has been provided, along with contact information such as mobile number, so that our delivery agent can reach out to you in case of any issues. Orders with incomplete or incorrect information may result in a delayed delivery. Please note that we rely on you with regard to the accuracy of the information shared with us while placing any Order.
  • If a product has become unavailable or our-of-stock and we are not able to fulfil the Order or there will be a delay in fulfilling the Order, we will advise you as soon as possible and offer a full refund for an alternative product or the option for us to fulfill the order when stock has been received.
  • For custom packaging such as but not limited to ribbons, metal plates, boxes etc, Company reserves the right to reject any orders or requests for designs, logos, or text that are deemed by the Company as inappropriate for association with the Läderach Chocolatier Suisse brand or products.
  • Once the Order has been shipped, it cannot be changed or cancelled by you for any reason whatsoever. In case you do not receive the order at the time of delivery, we will be at a liberty to impose the charges/cost incurred by us in attempting the delivery.
  • If the carrier was unable to deliver your Order and it was returned to our store/ warehouse facility, please Contact us and we’ll reship your Order. However, in case the carries was unable to deliver the Order due to your unavailability, the subsequent delivery may result in additional shipping charges. We will inform you of the changes in case applicable.
  • The delivery will be redirected / redelivered to any other address in any circumstance. The selected product will be delivered only in the city/pincode as mentioned, as “available” on our Website. Also the same will be delivered only to the address as mentioned and entered by you at the time of placing the Order.
  • Please note that the delivery of the Order may be affected due to reasons like lockdown, floods/ Heavy Rains/ National Bandh or because of any movement restrictions as per the order of the government authorities. In such an event, the delivery timelines may be affected and delivery may be delayed. We will try our best to deliver the Order at the earliest possible opportunity. However, we reserve the right to reschedule the delivery for another date and in such an event, we will inform you.
  • If the product is damaged and / or contains manufacturing defects or is near to expiry when you receive your Order, please Contact us and we’ll send you a replacement. For item missing / empty box related complaints, we would require a 360 degree video of unboxing of the packaging and the same shall be shared with us at laderach@dsgroup.com. For further information on the same, please refer to our Return and Refund Policy.
  • You may be notified of or shared a tracking ID (if applicable) either by us or by our delivery agent, in order to help you track the Order status. Order status can be check by you at our Website as well.

You are required to be available on the date of delivery as per the Order status. Our delivery agent may contact you on the day of the delivery. You may re-schedule the time of the delivery as per the convenience of the delivery agent. However, in the event you are unavailable at the date of delivery or in case the rescheduling is not possible, we will not be responsible for failure to deliver the Order. We will notify you of the date wherein we will attempt the delivery again. For any second delivery attempt, we will be at a liberty to impose the charges/cost incurred by us in attempting the delivery

We may update our Policy from time to time at our sole discretion. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Policy on our Website. We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on Our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "Last updated" date at the bottom of this Policy. You are advised to review this Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Policy are effective when they are posted on the Website.

12. JURISDICTION:

Any disputes arising under this Policy shall be governed by the Laws of India and shall be under exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts located at New Delhi.
